Australia: A Spiritually Enriching and Faith-Inspiring Session with Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Melbourne, a spiritually uplifting and intellectually engaging session was held at the residence of Syed Shah Rafiuddin Qadri (General Secretary, Minhaj-ul-Quran Victoria). The blessed gathering brought together members of Minhaj-ul-Quran and the wider Australian Muslim community in an atmosphere of love, reverence, and spiritual unity.

Addressing the attendees, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri highlighted the urgent need to safeguard one’s īmān (faith) amidst the growing spiritual and moral challenges of the modern age. Drawing deep reflection from the legacy of Karbala, he inspired the audience to align their hearts and actions with the path of the righteous predecessors (Sāliḥīn), upholding the eternal values of sacrifice, truthfulness, and steadfastness. He emphasized the spiritual importance of Mehfil-e-Zikr and the frequent recitation of Durood Sharif, encouraging believers to stay connected with such gatherings as sources of inner peace and purification.

Prof. Dr. Qadri further elaborated on the immense virtues of sacred knowledge and the transformative impact of being in the company of the pious. He stressed the importance of understanding the rulings of Halāl and Harām, particularly in modern contexts such as financial transactions (including banking) and dietary practices. He encouraged participants to live ethically grounded lives, guided by the principles of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
