Belief in Finality of Prophethood is the Foundation of Faith: Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri
The founder and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, while addressing the Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Conference via video link, stated that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Prophet and Messenger until the Day of Judgment. His Shariah (Islamic law) will remain in force until the end of time, and the Qur’an will continue to be a living miracle forever. He emphasized that anyone who doubts the finality of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) exits the fold of Islam.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri stated that there is not a single indication of any revelation after the Prophet (PBUH) in the entire Qur’an. While the Qur’an commands belief in previous prophets and acknowledges their truth, it also explicitly declares that no prophet will come after Muhammad (PBUH). This is one of the strongest affirmations and declarations of the finality of prophethood. Previous divine scriptures foretold the arrival of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), but after his advent, the Qur’an gave no hint of any prophet coming in the future.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri urged Muslims to protect their faith by upholding the belief in the finality of Prophethood. A large number of scholars, spiritual leaders, and students from religious seminaries participated in the Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Conference.
