Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Sweden
Sweden is a small country of Europe. The local population of this country is very small but it is very rich in natural resources and beauty. One Islamic Centre of Minhaj-ul-Quran International is established here. The number of Pakistanis living in this country is negligible. The work of Minhaj-ul-Quran International started in Stockholm and Community centre here is providing the platform to expatriate people in spite of their business preoccupations. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has visited Sweden two times. In July 1991, Minhaj-ul-Quran Conference was held in which he delivered a speech on "Islam and Science". During his journey by boat, one Swedish youth embraced Islam at his hands. In June 1992, he undertook his second visit of Sweden. Shaykh-ul-Islam delivered many lectures during his three-day stay in Sweden. Allama Nazir Ahmad Khan has been offering his services for the promotion of religious teachings in this country.
