MUL to host 7th International World Religion Conference

Minhaj University Lahore (MUL) will host the two-day 7th International World Religions Conference on October 26 and 27, 2024. The theme of the conference is "Politics and Violence in the Name of Religion." Scholars and professors from renowned universities in the UK, USA, Australia, Austria, Singapore, India, and Norway will present research papers at the conference.

The event will also be attended by university faculty members, professors, religious leaders from various faiths, scholars from different schools of thought, and a large number of students.

Registrar of Minhaj University Lahore, Khurram Shehzad, stated that preparations for the international conference have been completed. He said that the objective of the conference is to keep students informed about academic and research topics. He emphasized that intellectual exchange between international scholars is crucial for building an educated Pakistan and nurturing an enlightened younger generation.

He said that Minhaj University Lahore has always been at the forefront of fulfilling this national and societal need. The theme of the two-day conference, taking place on October 26 and 27, is of significant importance.
