Following the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is true respect for him

Allama Rana Muhammad Idris, Deputy Naib Nazim of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, addressed the Friday congregation at the Shaykh-ul-Islam Model Town mosque, stating that the respect and reverence for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is deeply ingrained in the heart of every Muslim. The concept of honoring the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is not limited to verbal respect or praise; it requires a complete practical way of life. He said that a Muslim cannot be a true Muslim unless their love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is perfect.

Allama Rana Idrees emphasized that love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the essence of faith. Every Muslim must follow the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) in every aspect of their daily life and practice his teachings. True respect for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) demands that we remember him with dignity and reverence, making his teachings a part of our lives.

The MQI leader said that following the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the true evidence of respect. Muslims should spend every moment of their lives—whether in worship, daily affairs, or dealings according to the guidance of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to genuinely fulfill the requirements of honoring him.

He further said that sincere love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) should be demonstrated in every word and action, striving to follow the Prophet’s (PBUH) example and live according to his instructions in all aspects of life, including happiness, sorrow, and social and financial dealings. This, he affirmed, is the true demand of honoring the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
