Minhaj Welfare Foundation Launches Collective Qurbani Campaign: Engineer Sanaullah Khan

Minhaj Welfare Foundation has officially launched its annual Collective Qurbani Campaign. Special help desks have been set up to facilitate the performance of Qurbani for both Pakistanis residing within the country and abroad.

For the year 2025, the foundation has set the price of a cow share at Rs. 29,000, a sheep (chhatra) at Rs. 43,000, and a goat at Rs. 48,000. These details were shared by the Director of Operations of Minhaj Welfare Foundation, Engineer Sanaullah Khan, while addressing a meeting held at the central secretariat in Model Town, Lahore. Heads of the administrative committees formed for the Qurbani campaign also attended the meeting.

Engineer Sanaullah Khan stated that, like every year, Minhaj Welfare Foundation has launched its collective Qurbani initiative this year as well. A special Qurbani helpline has been established for overseas Pakistanis to enable them to perform their religious duty with ease and confidence. Facilities are also available for people residing in Pakistan.

The Director of Operations further stated that, under the guidance of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Minhaj Welfare Foundation is committed to providing all necessary services for fulfilling the obligation of Qurbani for Muslims living both within and outside Pakistan.

He added that Minhaj Welfare Foundation uses modern slaughterhouses and adheres to strict hygiene standards to ensure the timely and safe delivery of meat to all participants and deserving recipients. Thousands of volunteers across the country, including in Lahore, contribute to this noble effort. Chillers are also used to ensure proper preservation and transportation of the meat.
