MWF to Perform Thousands of Voluntary (Fi Sabilillah) Sacrifices on Eid al-Adha

A meeting of the Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Minhaj Welfare Foundation) was held at the central secretariat in Model Town. The meeting reviewed the preparations and arrangements for the 2025 sacrifice campaign. Director Operations Minhaj Welfare Foundation, Engineer Sanaa Ullah Khan, Mansoor Qasim Awan, and other leaders participated in the meeting.

While giving a briefing on the sacrifice campaign, Engineer Sanaa Ullah Khan stated that Minhaj Welfare Foundation will perform thousands of voluntary (Fi Sabilillah) sacrifices across the country, including in Lahore, on Eid al-Adha. The meat will be distributed to deserving and needy individuals. In Lahore, the sacrificial meat will be distributed to 10,000 families.

Under Minhaj Welfare Foundation, collective sacrifice centers are being established in all major cities of the country. The 34 administrative committees formed for the 2025 sacrifice campaign have completed their tasks. The purchasing of sacrificial animals has also been completed. All arrangements for hygienic storage of sacrificial meat and its distribution to stakeholders and deserving individuals are being rapidly finalized.

Hundreds of volunteers of Minhaj Welfare Foundation will participate in the distribution of the meat and ensure that the sacrificial meat reaches the homes of deserving individuals. Engineer Sanaa Ullah Khan emphasized the importance of sharing the joy of Eid with those who are not in a position to afford the sacrifice.

He further explained that under Minhaj Welfare Foundation, hundreds of animals will be slaughtered for voluntary sacrifices on Eid al-Adha. The entire process, from slaughter to the preparation of meat, will be completed using modern machinery at the slaughterhouses. The sacrificial meat will be distributed in airtight thermopole boxes. Special arrangements will also be made using chillers to ensure that the meat reaches far-flung areas.

The meeting was attended by Rana Faisal, Shafqat Nadeem, Mushtaq Ahmad, Ayub Ansari, Ahmad Naveed, Azmat Shah, and others.
