UK: Al-Hidayah 2025 Training Workshop Starts
A three-day religious, educational, and reformative workshop titled “Al-Hidayah 2025” began on August 2 in the United Kingdom. The workshop aims to equip participants to face contemporary social and societal challenges.
The opening session featured a keynote lecture by the founder and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, on the topic “Righteous Intentions and Dignified Character.”
He will address every session throughout the workshop. His lecture topics include:
1. The Virtue of the Sunnah.
2. The Concept of Sainthood and Miracles.
3. The Importance of Community in Understanding the Path of Truth
On August 3, Dr. Ghazala Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League International, will speak on “Stages of Spiritual Growth to Become a Practicing Muslim.” Also on the same day, Shaykh Hammad al-Mustafa will deliver a special lecture titled “A Civilized Way of Living in the 21st Century.”
On August 4, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of Minhaj-ul-Quran International’s Supreme Council, will deliver a lecture on the topic: “Who is Shaykh-ul-Islam?”
The workshop will also feature dedicated Q&A sessions in each segment, where young Muslim men and women living in the West will have the opportunity to ask questions on religious, social, and cultural matters.
Syed Ali Abbas Bukhari, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International UK, stated that for the past several years, Al-Hidayah workshops have been regularly organized. Their purpose is to expose Muslim youth in the West to various dimensions of Prophetic teachings, to bridge community gaps, and to help them become productive and practicing Muslims.
He added that the key objectives of Al-Hidayah include:
1. Replacing ignorance-based extremist thinking with informed Islamic understanding.
2. Promoting interfaith harmony.
3. Instilling respect for law and religious values among youth.
4. Highlighting the importance of peace and moderation in society.
